In The Grim Darkness Of The Far Future, There Is Only WAR!……………….

Last Week saw me doing some more work on my Tyranids. Which involved stripping some paint from some old metal models, and painting some details on the models that I primed up in purple.

I also spent some time working on the dinning room in the flat, which involved some re-plastering after the removal of the old skirting boards. This all came about after I had been out and purchased two book cases, I have a rather large collection of Games Workshop publications which have been stored away in boxes for many years. And as we had very little furniture in the room it seemed like a good idea in total, in spent £175.00 on five cases (two tall and three smaller ones). Having removed the skirting boards and patching up the damage, the cases were pushed back to the wall and filled up with books.

It took me 3 days to sort everything out the first day was spent making 2 of the cases and repairing  the wall, the second day was spent getting  the other 3 cases and putting them together, and finally the third day was spent sorting out all my books and magazines into order. I have also managed to gain 4 shelves with which I can display my models on, now at last I can get my Blood Angles and Orks on display. Now to my surprise both the Blood Angles and Orks have survived  with out to much damaged (with the Deff Dread and Killa kans being the worst  with a few broken arms).

I had, earlier in the week agreed to go to the local club this weekend to play some games of 40k with the 2 brothers (Michael and David) I had met the other week. But on Saturday morning I had a message telling me that the club was cancelled due to damage caused by the bad weather we have had in the UK. Now where I live it has not been hit as bad as other parts of the UK but being by the coast we have had some very strong winds. Now it is going to be a few weeks till I can get some games in due to work commitments.
